I have fond memories of Silloth. We used to go there as a family for fish n chips and ice cream when I was a kid. Often saw porpoises out at sea and many seabirds. When I first left school I worked at the convalescent home across the golf course. Probably long gone as this was the 70's. I'm glad you are enjoying the area. There is a lot to experience.

Ooh - I will definitely keep a lookout for porpoises! I am definitely enjoying the area - it is like being on an extended holiday :-)
