Wow Angie, I identified with this so much. A really enjoyable read. Having a close association with the natural environment does make things come quick. One is never without excitement. The Swift's leave( which is always a sad time), blink and the first pink footed geese arrive on the Norfolk coast.

How wonderful and so very true. The British weather, something we all connect with and love to talk about 😅

The breezy knees garden looks great, exactly how I'd like my garden border to look haha!

I love the change of the seasons and look forward to each one as the passing season begins to close.

Love your article. I’d never really thought about the difference with living somewhere that’s always the same.

Your photos are beautiful 😍!

Excellent post, and your photos are amazing! <3 I completely agree. I love spring so much, and appreciate it all the more because it comes after a few months when almost everything is dead and cold. There's a real sense of adventure for me at the moment to see plants and trees coming to life again, not to mention all the insects appearing in my orchard. I saw my first damselfly of the year yesterday and was overjoyed. It just wouldn't be the same if they were here all year round!

Thanks so much, Kate. I agree, it is really exciting being out at the moment and watching things burst into life seemingly overnight. Nature is wonderful :-)

I would swear that some things in my orchard grow about two feet overnight at the moment :-)
